NO monthly Games and Movie Night will be heldin July.

LYO continues with Fellowship Night each Wednesday at 7:00, except during the Mission Trip week.

LYO Sunday is July 11 when the youth help out as greeters, ushers, lector, and worship nursery attendants.

LYO and KICK will not visit Country Health Nursing Home in Gifford this month because of preparations for the mission trip.

Mission Trip is July 18-24 in Birmingham, Alabama. Remember in your prayers all the youth and adults who will be traveling to Alabama to help those in need. The youth will lead worship on Sunday, July 25, to tell their stories from the mission trip.

Vacation Bible School, with Bible stories, crafts, skits, games, and songs, will again be held in the evenings on August 8-13 with the closing program, the “Grandstand Revue”, during worship on Sunday, August 15. This year’s theme is Gospel Light’s SonHarvest County Fair based on…

Galatians 5:22-23—

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

The rooster’s crowing and it’s time to get crackin’! It’s fair time again and the farm is buzzing with excitement. From pie baking and craft making to cow milking and hog calling, SonHarvest County Fair has it all!

Children (2009-2010 Nursery through Grade 5 age) are invited to participate in this farming theme and down-to-earth fun as they get hands-on experience in growing, making and presenting their best.

Through examples of Jesus and his parables, they will grow a crop of love, sprout joy, plant peace, produce some patience, and pick a bushel of kindness, too! They’ll learn that the best way to grow is to know Jesus as their Savior and to live as He wants them to live.

As you know, VBS is a success with lots of volunteers and participation by the youth. Signup sheets are posted by the Sunday School office for teachers and helpers. Please prayerfully consider where you can help out, and volunteer!

So polish your pumpkins, practice your hog calling and pick your sweetest peaches. It’s sure to be a blue-ribbon year at SonHarvest County Fair!
